Our client, a successful investment management firm, is looking for an experienced Analyst to join their Debt team. The analyst will participate in board-level strategic planning and work closely with portfolio company management teams. Ideal candidate will have a background in leveraged finance.
Primary responsibilities:
- Assessment of new opportunities
- Valuation and financial modeling
- Transaction structuring and execution
Additional responsibilities:
- Managing senior secured bank loans, high yield bonds, and other fixed income investments in a variety of funds and investment vehicles
- Performing securitization analytics and cash flow modeling
- Monitoring asset backed securities transactions and conducting industry research
- Assisting in the preparation of rating agency and investor presentations
- Supporting the execution of securitization transactions
The appropriate candidate should have:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking (preferably in Leveraged Finance) at a top-tier firm
- Restructuring experience a huge plus
- Superb financial modeling and Excel skills, along with some exposure to Bloomberg
